Gakuen Alice episode 11

This was one of my favourite episodes yet! The beginning of it is probably one of the most interesting parts in it because there was a fire in the dormitories, nobody had a first thought that it might have been Natsume, which I thought was odd, though Natsume did have something to say about it to his friend Ruka, which was an interesting remark. Although after that the episode focused more on Mikan. In the episode she is trying to improve her Alice so she could use it at will. The episode also involved the character Jinno, he is one of Mikan’s teachers who has a frog or something on his shoulder, from this episode I could definitely tell that he is an extremely cruel person and is in a way really just bullying Mikan “teacher style”. I was surprised how angry he actually got me. Luckily, by the end of the episode the teachers gained some sort of respect from me because Mikan’s homeroom teacher Narumi, decided to do something nice in her favor, well at least as far as I can tell. Though, there also seemed to be an important part in this episode involving Noda, who is the teacher to the special abilities class, his Alice is that he can time travel, but sometimes he can’t control it. When time traveling there appeared to be something distinct to where he ended up, there was a woman with a child in a winter landscape. That’s all the information we really got from that scene, but I think it may have been someone who might be important to the story or the child itself, I hope they plan on explaining that further. Something that I particularly don’t like about the show is that they are really dragging on the details of what an Alice is. In this episode they are still explaining new things about it, I find that it would have been better if they had just explained it all in a single episode. Meh, I guess it’s true when they say you can’t always get what you want. Still, a great episode!
